Mission Statement- In partnership with the public, we serve to protect the public by the suppression and prevention of crime, and the reduction of criminal recidivism; and, Perform all mandates of the Office of Sheriff as provided in the U.S. Constitution and laws of the State of California, including the investigation and enforcement of violations of federal and state laws and local ordinances in a fair and reasonable manner; and, Serve the superior and municipal courts by providing court security, service of civil process, and execution of lawful orders of the court; and, Maintain the county jails and prisoners committed therein as prescribed by law in a fair and humane manner.
